Two words: Highschool Sweethearts. Cody and Haley met at church over 5 years ago (her junior year of high school and his senior year) and knew that there was an instant spark between the two of them. Haley got up the courage to ask Cody if he was going to a basketball game, in which he replied, "Yeah! Will you be there?" Although neither attended the game the next night, two weeks later, Cody got Haley's phone number. The rest is history and the future is a mystery! These two cannot wait to see what new memories will be made!

Cody and Haley planned a weekend getaway to Charleston, SC. Haley needed a break from the stress of school and Cody needed the perfect getaway proposal. The morning of October 27, Haley and Cody, along with two friends of theirs, Will and Morgan, traveled 3 hours to downtown Charleston. As always, Haley had an itinerary. They were going to shop for a few hours, eat lunch, check into the hotel, and change outfits before they head down to Folly Beach for a photoshoot (because Will is a photographer lol how convenient). First, let's rewind back to a couple weeks prior, Cody had been planning and scheming. He set up a group text with several different people, Stevie, Will, Morgan, Meredith, and Dakota. He used Haley's itinerary (how rude haha) and Stevie's map drawing of where the proposal would take place. Fast Forward, Cody had them spread out roses on the beach. On the way down there, Haley had suspicions, but did not believe it was going to happen. After all, she was texting Meredith all day, asking what she was doing. According to her, she was no where near Charleston. Knowing how oblivious Haley is, the roses spread out on the beach did not even fathom her until Will threw Cody the ring box before snapping a picture. Before she knew it, he was down on one knee asking her if she would spend forever with him.
